How to choose a gaming mouse

I found an interesting article on gaming mouse. A Japanese hardcore FPS gamer describes what to consider when choosing a mouse for gaming. Since the article is in Japanese, I'm posting the summary of the article in English.

First of all, a mouse is more important than anything else.
- PRECISION and AGILITY are required.
- Player's intention and movement in the game must correspond.

Ergonomics comes first.
- A mouse which is easy to hold in the hand is good. It'll reduce unnecessary stress and keep the precision of aiming.

Layout and "click" of buttons are also important.
- Are they easy to reach? Do they provide nice "clicking experience"?
- Buttons shouldn't be accidentally clicked.
- Does the wheel have notches?

Wired mouse is better.
- No latency!
- No batteries; meaning it's lighter.

Optical mouse is best.
- Precision increases.
- Friction decreases.

To sum up, we're on the right track!
