Classic gaming geek sauna

Me and Tuukka went to visit a party of classic console gaming yesterday in hopes to find our user group and perhaps interview a couple of hardcore gamers. The plan mostly failed. Two of about ten people we talked to had ever tried playing CoD, but hardly anyone seemed to be a true gamer of the latest technology and trendiest games.

One person had an interesting story to tell about his TV-PC setup. He lived together with his girlfriend and he already had grtaduated some four years ago. He was the main gamer and computer user of the household, but his girlfriend also anjoyed playing some role-playing game (the name of which I don't remember) every now and then. Together, as he put it, they had planned their system where a 40-inch TV is used as the display for the computer and also as the family TV. The sofa is located a couple of meters away from the desk. The different distances from the sofa and the desk to the TV seemed to satisfy these users' needs. There also was an extra display on the desk in case a double display was needed or the TV and PC needed to be separated from each other, but it was rarely used.
