Aiming Explorations

After exploring the gyration mouse by attaching it to our nerf gun, it seems like its very accurate and responsive, BUT if i try to slightly aim somewhere else, it is very insensitive (probably due to low acceleration, meaning it will barely move the mouse in real life). For example, if I move from point A to point B (with my gun) really fast, then on the screen, the pointer moves really far relative to its starting point; if I move from point A to point B really slow, then on the screen, the pointer barely moves. However, it is the same point A and same point B in real life.
